On Wednesday October 28, 2009, the Girls Varsity Cross Country Team advanced to the Regional Meet in San Antonio
The team placed 3rd at the district meet, which was held at Zavalla. Freshman Tori Waters placed 9th at the meet and Junior Jordan Hashaw placed 11th.
The regional meet was held at Brooks-City Base in San Antonio on November 7, 2009. The girls placed 17th out of 24 teams. Individually Tori Waters placed 29th out of 167 in 13:30 which was her best time of the year. While we didn't advance this year we are pleased with our outcome.
The members of this year's Girl's Cross Country team are: Tori Waters (9th), Lauren McClain (9th), Stacey Marble (9th), Megan Huddleston (9th), Caitlin Bennett (9th), Ariel Ridge (10th), Sara Ferguson (10th), Jordan Hashaw (11th), and Kassidy Steele (12th).
