Elementary (PK-6):

Students and parents are invited to tour the room, drop off supplies and get acquainted with the teacher during designated ‘Meet the Teacher’ times. Elementary orientation times are reserved for parents to complete paperwork, participate in a presentation by the teacher, and ask questions.  Pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade students are encouraged to play in the elementary gym (and meet their PE teachers) during orientation.

Secondary (7-12):

Please meet in the cafeteria for grade level orientation, and then proceed to the gym for stations. These stations will include registration, free/reduced lunch applications, a nurse’s station, parent portal access information, and student schedules. Organization tables will also be set up for students to visit with the sponsors and sign up for participation. 7th and 8th graders will choose electives.  9th-12th graders will pick up schedules.

Parents of secondary students will need to pay for insurance coverage for the student’s Chromebook that will be used during the school year ($15 for grades 7-8 and $35 for grades 9-12). Student drivers must also bring $5.00 (for a parking permit), a valid driver’s license, and a copy of liability insurance.

ALL Freshman are required to attend an orientation in order to complete a graduation plan. Attending this parent night completes this state requirement. click here for flyer
