All Band student 6-12 can sign up for after school help in the band hall. Each lesson is 15-30 minutes long. High School Band members should be getting help with their ATSSB music to prepare for the tryout in November.

WH Golden Pride Band Competes at Area

The West Hardin Golden Pride Band had a great marching season (which is not over yet) and competed at area in Longview Saturday. Mike Tucker, the WH Band Director, said "Our kids did an outstanding job at area. They worked so hard and have great attitudes!! This is the hardest working bunch that I have ever taught". The band came in 5th place at area. This means our Golden Pride Band is in the top 5 bands in this part of East Texas. This is a great accomplishment for such a young band made up of 7th through 12th grade West Hardin students. Awesome job, band members!
