Operation Graduation
We are currently selling CocaCola products. A case of 24- 20 oz. drinks for $20.00. Call a senior and place your order by Sept. 17. Our next meeting is Sept. 23 at 6:30pm in the HS library.

Lady Oilers take 3rd in the Buna Tournament
Lady Oilers competed in the Buna tournament this weekend. On Thursday the Lady Oilers went 5 and 3 in pool play and qualified to return on Saturday for bracket play. The Oilers defeated 2A Kirbyville first to set up a rematch with the Woodville Lady Eagles. In a hard fought match the Lady Oilers went down to the Eagles. That placed the Lady Oilers in the 3rd place game verus 3A West Orange-Stark Lady Mustanges. The Lady Oilers repersented the school great with pride and spirit that led West Hardin to the 3rd place trophy over the larger West Orange-Stark school. Great job Ladys!!!
Lady Oilers take 2nd!!
Coach Vanya and the Lady Oiler volleyball team finished off a successful week by winning 2nd place in the Groveton Volleyball Tournament. After breezing through their pool games on Thursday, they lost in a hard fought match against Corrigan-Camden. Earlier in the week the Lady Oilers defeated rival Hardin Lady Hornets 3 to1 in a packed Oiler Gym. The Lady Oilers will be competing in the Buna Tournament this weekend.
Medical Release Forms
Parents high school band students have been give a medical release form. It was passed on Monday and the band department needs it back by Friday Aug. 27,2010. It is very important that we have this form on file for our students in case there is need for your student to have medical attention. Your students are valuable and we want to make sure we take ever precaution neccessary for their safety. Thank you for all of your help.
Summer Band Camp
After a long two weeks of camp some of the West Hardin Band members enjoyed a water event to cool off from the HEAT!!!!! The water was well enjoyed by all. Even Mr. Tucker got in on the action by having the water cooler dumped on him SEVERAL TIMES!!!!!!! Talk about COLD!!!!! The West Hardin Band also enjoyed an ice cream pig out at the end of the first week of camp.
Band Supporters Needed
Band parents and those adults that suport the band are needed. The West Hardin Band Boosters are looking for anyone that supports our band kids to become a part of the West Hardin Band Boosters. We can always use your help with raising funds, providing snacks or meals, helping with trips wether it is being a chaperone or contributing finances. We also have alot of plans for the future and we would like to include you in a rewarding and gratifying experience.
